About Darian
Darian Mathias-Adair is the Creator-founder and president of Location Connection, Inc., Est. 1991, and notorious for having the most iconic, outrageous, exclusive portfolio of Mansions & Private Estates for Filming & Event productions here in Los Angeles. She has been entertaining her whole life, having appeared in over 100 episodes of popular sitcoms such as Who’s the Boss? and Growing Pains. She has guest starred alongside the likes of George Clooney and Sharon Stone, and her recent appearances include HGTV, Extra, and The Food Network. In 2020, “English Equestrian” Darian, trick-trained her “animal actor” family member “Emmy the Mini Horse”, and Emmy landed a Starring Role in their client’s 2020 Kentucky Derby TV Commercial for Woodford Reserve. Darian & Joe donated their mini ranch as the filming back drop to help during Covid-19, and had cameo roles, including their equestrian neighbors! Originally it all started in 1991, when Darian armed with a background in entertainment and real estate, developed a unique enterprise, Location Connection, that would offer privately-owned properties as venues for film shoots and special events. This unique concept was intended to provide extra income to local homeowners and to generate advertising for homes listed for sale.
About Joe
Joe Adair has been building Event Venues & Custom Homes most of his life, and while also serving in law enforcement for many years, he won the “role” as the actual “Bodyguard” to Kevin Costner, attending Hollywood Awards shows as part of his job! In the midst of helping his parents build an iconic 35,000 sq ft. Event Venue/1500 Guest capacity in Orange County, Joe was also an Event Location Manager. After a Private Estate Wedding, for the nuptials of Darian & Joe in 2010, (with 3 trained miniature horses), they have now adopted their very own, Emmy the Mini Horse! Darian & Joe became team partners for Location Connection in 2010, and the next “Milestone” came of being hired by the legendary Rock Star “Prince,” to construct a custom “purple plexi glass pool platform” for Prince to host his Oscar & Grammy parties at the Mansion Joe & Darian managed here in LA. Needless to say, Joe’s background serves Location Connection well!
Emmy’s Bio
Emmy has BIG dreams in Hollywood! As the Ambassador to Location Connection, Emmy’s mission statement is to bring “Hugs to Hollywood” and provide mobile equine-assisted activity services to children and adults of all ages to ease human suffering during times of natural emergencies, violence, traumatic events, and loss with the assistance of a trained Therapy Horse. Emmy has also Starred in a Kentucky Derby TV Commercial for Woodford Reserve and can be seen “on location” giving Mansion Tours to our TV & Film & Special Events Industry clientele, here in Los Angeles, CA. Emmy has already met over 500 people demonstrating her natural gifts of being a calm nurturing “love bug!” Emmy has also mastered potty training, playing piano, elevators, stairs, shake hands, Hi-Ho Silver, car rides, pulls a cart & most of all she just loves being a “house horse” that lays down in her bed by the fireplace. Emmy is also a Service Horse for a family member, and on que’ will pick up and fetch items when you say “Emmy I need your help!” Emmy is an animal actor, available to appear in your next TV Commercial, Music Video, Photo Shoot, or Special Event! Research has shown that equine therapy has positive mental, social, educational, spiritual, and physical benefits.
